The world-class streak of the popular K-pop group ATEEZ continues, as the group has won a series of ‘firsts’ in various fields such as global music charts and music festivals, making them a truly global artist.

In December of last year, ATEEZ surprised the world with their second full-length album, “THE WORLD EP. FIN : WILL,” which topped the Billboard 200 chart in the United States. It was evaluated as an even more meaningful record because it was the result of their steady growth since their debut in 2018.

Along with the U.S. Billboard 200, the group also set a record on the globally recognized UK Official Album Chart. They became the first K-pop group of the fourth generation to reach the number two spot on that chart. The group’s global status was recognized by being on the Top 100 for two consecutive weeks.

ATEEZ also solidified their presence at global music festivals. They became the first K-pop boy group to perform at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival (Coachella), a “dream stage” for many musicians. The stage was a hot topic of conversation.

Their growing popularity was realized when they were announced as the headliners of MAWAZINE, a global music festival held in the Moroccan capital of Rabat. In particular, they are the first K-pop artists to be invited to MAWAZINE and will be performing on the main stage, OLM SOUISSI, for their first appearance.

In 2018, they shot a music video for their debut album in the Sahara Desert of Morocco, dreaming of becoming a “pirate king,” and six years later, they stepped onto the Coachella “Sahara” stage. In Morocco, they rubbed shoulders with world-class artists on the main stage of the festival that attracts millions of people.

In addition, ATEEZ continues to be a ‘first’ in various fields. On April 20, ATEEZ was named “K-Pop Artist Of The Year” at the international music event Record Store Day, making them the first K-pop group to win the title.

In addition, KQ Entertainment (ATEEZ & CYCUS) will be hosting the first-ever K-pop pop-up exhibition at the Grammy Museum in the United States: A GRAMMY Museum Pop-Up (KQ ENT. (ATEEZ &xikers): A GRAMMY Museum Pop-Up),” which was held at the GRAMMY Museum in Tokyo.

On the 10th, ATEEZ will appear on TV Asahi’s “Music Station,” Japan’s leading music broadcasting station, to perform their third Japanese single “NOT OKAY.

Meanwhile, ATEEZ will release their 10th mini album ‘GOLDEN HOUR : Part.1’ on the 31st, and it will be interesting to see what kind of career high they will color the ‘Golden Hour’ with as they return to the world of the new series after ‘TREASURE’, ‘FEVER’, and ‘THE WORLD’.
