BTS RM Breaks Own Record on UK Official Charts with Solo 2nd Album
BTS member RM has shattered his own record on the UK Official Albums Chart with his second solo album, highlighting his global popularity.
According to the UK Official Charts released on May 31 (local time), RM’s second solo album ‘Right Place, Wrong Person’ entered the Official Albums Chart at number 37. This marks his second entry following his first solo album ‘Indigo’ (which peaked at number 45) in 2022, and it’s his highest charting solo album to date.
High Rankings Across Various Charts
‘Right Place, Wrong Person’ ranked 5th on the ‘Albums Download’ chart and 8th on the ‘Albums Sales’ chart, securing high positions in multiple categories. Additionally, it placed 11th on both the ‘Physical Albums’ and ‘Scottish Albums’ charts, demonstrating its widespread appeal.
Title Track ‘LOST!’ Performance
The title track ‘LOST!’ debuted at number 93 on the Official Singles Chart. This is RM’s second solo track to enter the Official Singles Chart, with the pre-release track ‘Come back to me’ previously reaching number 80. ‘LOST!’ also topped the ‘Singles Sales’, ‘Singles Download’, and ‘Physical Singles’ charts, showcasing its global popularity. ‘Come back to me’ has remained on the charts for three consecutive weeks, ranking 39th on the ‘Singles Download’ chart and 42nd on the ‘Singles Sales’ chart.
‘Right Place, Wrong Person’ was released simultaneously worldwide on May 24 at 1 PM. The album explores moments when one feels like an outsider in a place, and RM participated in writing all 11 tracks, demonstrating his artistic prowess.
