‘BTS’ RM releases new music video teaser for ‘Come back to me’. A dreamy visual treat.
Big Hit Music released a teaser video for RM’s new music video “Come back to me” on September 9 at 0:00 on its YouTube channel. It was a short video of about 10 seconds.
RM looked straight ahead, pondering something. The mysterious scar at the corner of his eye, the smoke rising from behind him, and the wistful sound maximized the mood of the video.
The music video for “Come Back to Me” is a highly anticipated collaboration with a prestigious film crew. Director Lee Sung-jin of Netflix’s “Angry People” directed, produced, and wrote the script.
Art director Ryu Sung-hee also participated. Ryu has worked on the movies “A Decision to Break Up” and “Assassination. Cinematographer Kim Woo-hyung of the films “1987” and “Manchu” also contributed. Actress Kim Min-ha is also in the cast.
“RM and the talented crew completed the music video, and you will feel like you are watching a short movie,” said Big Hit Music, adding, “Please pay attention to the song and the music video.”
“Come Back to Me” is a song in the indie pop genre. It is a pre-release song from RM’s second solo album ‘Right Place, Wrong Person’ (Right Place, Wrong Person). The song is a reflection on the album’s theme, ‘Right & Wrong’.
RM’s album also drew attention for the fact that it featured talented musicians. Oh Hyuk of the song band Hyuk-oh produced the album, and Kuo of the Taiwanese five-piece band Sunset Rollercoaster joined him on guitar and bass. Singer-songwriter JunkYard (JNKYRD) and San Yawn of BAMING TIGER are also on the lineup.
The poster photo released before the teaser was released also caught our attention. RM posted the second concept photo for his second solo album, “Right Place, Wrong Person,” on his official SNS at 0:00 a.m. KST on March 3.
Takahiro Mizushima, a young Japanese photographer who is attracting attention for his unique work, participated in the photo work. “I was very nervous from the time I was asked to participate until the day of the shoot, but as a photographer, I thought a lot about how to capture RM,” said Takahiro Mizushima.
The concept photo of RM travels to Tokyo, Japan, where he enjoys his daily life on the streets. There was a sense of freedom in the photos as he wandered the streets alone and laid down on the ground.
Meanwhile, RM will release “Come Back to Me” simultaneously worldwide on October 10 at 1pm.
