Byeon Woo-seok Breaks into U.S. Billboard…Eclipse’s ‘Sudden Shower’ Enters the Charts
Actor Byeon Woo-seok’s popularity has now reached the U.S. Billboard charts.
According to the latest Billboard charts released on June 4th (local time), Eclipse’s ‘Sudden Shower’ has entered the Billboard Global 200 chart at 199th place.
‘Sudden Shower’ is a song performed by the band Eclipse, which includes Byeon Woo-seok’s character Ryu Seon-jae in the drama ‘Carry Seonjae and Run’. The song is a heartfelt piece written by Ryu Seon-jae, reminiscing about his first love, Lim Sol (played by Kim Hye-yoon).
The Global 200 chart ranks songs based on streaming and sales activity from more than 200 territories around the world, excluding U.S. radio airplay. It is quite rare for a drama OST to make it onto a major Billboard chart.
