(G)I-DLE headlines the first day finale of US music festival HITC.
(G)I-DLE lit up the night in New York, USA.
(G)I-DLE (Miyeon, Minni, Soyeon, Woogi, and Shuhwa) took to the stage at Head In The Clouds Music 2024 (HITC 2024) at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, New York, on the 11th (local time). (G)I-DLE was the last act to perform on the first day of the global festival.
(G)I-DLE opened with “Super Lady,” the title track of their second album “2” (Two). The group then followed with “I Want That,” “Oh my god,” “LION,” “LATATA,” “Queencard,” “I Do,” and “Allergy” to the cheers of the local audience. ‘Allergy’, ‘MY BAG’, ‘TOMBOY’, ‘THE BADDEST’, ‘POP/STARS’, and a concert version of ‘POP/STARS’, (G)I-DLE heated up the scene.
(G)I-DLE entertained the audience with their passionate performances throughout the concert, especially their eye-catching and intense performances, which captivated the atmosphere of the venue and aroused enthusiastic responses from local fans.
(On the 6th, (G)I-DLE’s music video for “Nxde” reached 300 million views for the third time after “TOMBOY” and “Queencard”. Including this, the group has a total of five music videos that have surpassed 200 million views and are steadily gaining popularity.
In addition, member WooGi made his official debut as a solo artist with the release of his first mini album, “YUQ1,” on the 23rd of last month. With his first solo album becoming a half-million seller, (G)I-DLE has successfully continued to pursue both group and solo careers.
