Kep1er Previews First Full Album ‘Kep1going On’ Ahead of June 3 Comeback
K-pop girl group Kep1er is set to make a comeback with their first full-length album, ‘Kep1going On’. On May 29, Kep1er heightened fans’ anticipation by releasing a highlight medley video on their official social media channels.
Kep1er members (Choi Yujin, Xiaoting, Mashiro, Kim Chaehyun, Kim Dayeon, Hikaru, Huening Bahiyyih, Seo Youngeun, and Kang Yeseo) have packed their new album with 10 tracks, showcasing their distinctive musical style and individuality. The highlight medley video begins with the members enjoying time together, and features a concept where the past and present Kep1er meet, emphasizing their growth and talents.
Title Track ‘Shooting Star’ and Various B-Sides
The title track ‘Shooting Star’ is a synth-pop song characterized by rhythmic drums, emotional synth lines, and electric guitar. This song expresses the group’s heartfelt message to their fandom, Keplian, and features dynamic development and delicate emotional expressions that highlight Kep1er’s maturity.
The album also includes a variety of songs such as ‘Last Carnival’, ‘Curious’, ‘Flowers, Flutter, Your heart’, and ‘Double Up!’. These tracks span genres like dreamy urban pop-punk, liquid drum and bass, soothing R&B, and deep house-based pop, offering listeners a rich musical experience.
