NEWJEANS Collaborates with the British Museum. Korean Guide Giving Back
NEWJEANS will introduce the British Museum (British Museum), one of the world’s top three museums, with its voice.
ADOR announced on Thursday that “NEWJEANS has contributed its talent to the voice recording of the introduction of major exhibits in the Korean room of the British Museum,” and that “the official Korean audio guide can be heard in the voice of NEWJEANS.”
NEWJEANS narrated in Korean about a celadon flower-patterned jungbong, a 1300s inlaid celadon, a Joseon white porcelain moon jar, a Buddhist painting of King Sacheon, and a 1700s architectural sarangbang recreated using traditional Korean techniques.
The members said, “We are proud and happy to be a part of this meaningful project to introduce various artifacts that showcase the beauty and sophistication of Korea, and we hope that many people will listen.”
The ‘Korea’ themed tour with NEWJEANS is available to listen to on the British Museum audio app from today. It includes NEWJEANS’ Korean-language commentary on some of the Roman Britain artifacts, including a bronze head of the Roman emperor Hadrian.
Meanwhile, NEWJEANS will be making a comeback with their new double single “How Sweet” on April 24th. The group has prepared a total of four songs, including the title track of the same name, pre-release song “Bubble Gum,” and performance versions of each song.
They will then release their debut single “Supernatural” in Japan on the 21st of next month. They will also hold a fan meeting at Tokyo Dome. He has also collaborated with cultural and artistic luminaries such as Takashi Murakami and Hiroshi Fujiwara.
