Girl group aespa has taken the global charts by storm with their first full album ‘Armageddon.’ Released on the 27th, aespa’s first full album ‘Armageddon’ topped the iTunes Top Albums chart in 25 regions, including the United States, Australia, Canada, Mexico, Norway, New Zealand, Brazil, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Laos, Malaysia, Poland, Romania, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey, Uzbekistan, and Chile, achieving their best performance to date. The album also topped the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart.
Remarkable Achievements in China and Japan
aespa also ranked first on the combined K-pop chart of five music platforms under Tencent Music in China and topped the QQ Music digital album sales chart. They received a double platinum album certification just three hours after release (granted for sales exceeding 2 million yuan). Additionally, they topped the overall and Korean music video charts. In Japan, they topped the real-time rising chart on the local platform AWA and the latest and daily foreign songs chart on mora.
