RM Releases Live Video of ‘Nuts’ Recorded at London Studio
BTS member RM has shared a behind-the-scenes look at his latest project. At midnight (KST) on the 30th, RM uploaded a live video of ‘Nuts,’ a track from his second solo album ‘Right Place, Wrong Person,’ to the official BTS YouTube channel. ‘Nuts’ is an alternative hip hop track that calmly expresses dissatisfaction with people who have changed.
Live Video Filmed in a London Studio
The video was shot at a studio in London where various artists, including Jamie Cullum and Jorja Smith, have recorded. RM also mixed tracks for his new album at this studio, and photos taken with a film camera during his sessions are inserted throughout the ‘Nuts’ live video.
Free-Spirited Performance in a Vintage Setting
In the video, RM appears with a microphone, moving freely around the vintage-themed studio while performing ‘Nuts.’ In the first half of the song, his deep emotions blend with the captivating bass sound, while in the second half, he delivers charismatic rap verses to the fast-paced rhythm. RM masterfully contrasts the song’s moods, completing the live video with his dynamic presence.
Release of Second Solo Album and Critical Acclaim
On the 24th at 1 PM, RM released his second solo album, ‘Right Place, Wrong Person,’ worldwide. The album has received high praise from international media, being described as a “beautiful and fascinating artistic work” (NME) and “RM’s remarkable solo journey” (Grammy.com). The album is noted for expanding RM’s musical world as a solo artist.
