SEVENTEEN (ESCOOPS, Junghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Uzi, D.E.A.T., Mingyu, Dogyeom, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino) has been ranked No. 5 on the Billboard 200 in the U.S. for their best album “17 IS RIGHT HERE.

According to a chart preview article posted by American music publication Billboard on its official website on May 12 (local time), “17 IS RIGHT HERE” entered the latest Billboard 200 (18 May) at No. 5 on the main album chart with sales of 53,000 copies. The album has sold 49,000 physical copies and 4,000 SEA units (sales equivalent to streams).

This marks SEVENTEEN’s fifth Top 10 album on the Billboard 200, following their fourth studio album “Face the Sun” (#7), fourth studio repackaged album “SECTOR 17” (#4), mini 10th album “FML” (#2), and mini 11th album “SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN” (#2). Their ninth mini album, “Attacca” (No. 13), also debuted on the chart.

SEVENTEEN’s Billboard success was already foreshadowed. ’17 IS RIGHT HERE’ became a double million seller on the day of its release, and the album’s first week of sales exceeded 2.96 million copies. Based on Circle Chart’s April monthly chart, it has sold more than 3.18 million copies (regular, weavers, and kits combined).

Music videos are also popular. The title track “MAESTRO” from “17 IS RIGHT HERE” entered the U.S. Billboard Global 200 and Global (excluding U.S.) at No. 91 and No. 40, respectively, on the 11th of May, which was released last week. Billboard ranks these charts every Friday through the following Thursday by combining streams and sales of music in more than 200 countries and territories around the world, and “MAESTRO,” which was released on Friday (29 April) at 6 p.m. KST, has been on both major charts for less than four days.

’17 IS RIGHT HERE’ is an album that brings together SEVENTEEN’s past, present, and future. The album contains 33 songs, including the title track “MAESTRO,” four new songs by hip-hop team “LALALI,” performance team “Spell,” and vocal team “Youth Hymn,” 28 of SEVENTEEN’s previous titles, and performance song “Save (Inst.).

SEVENTEEN wrapped up their official activities for “17 IS RIGHT HERE” with an appearance on SBS’s “Popular” on the 12th, and will continue their huge stadium tour in Japan. SEVENTEEN will hold “SEVENTEEN TOUR ‘FOLLOW’ AGAIN” at Osaka Yanmar Stadium Nagai on the 18th and 19th and Kanagawa Nissan Stadium on the 25th and 26th to meet their global fans.
