ZEROBASEONE hits the music scene this summer with ‘Refreshing Power’… Becomes a million seller upon comeback

Boy group ZEROBASEONE made a comeback with their mini 3rd album ‘You had me at HELLO’ and hit the music industry this summer. The group, consisting of Sung Hanbin, Kim Ji-woong, Jang Hao, Seok Matthew, Kim Tae-rae, Ricky, Kim Kyubin, Park Gun-wook, and Han Yu-jin, has been capturing the hearts of fans around the world with their ‘refreshing power’ concept.

ZEROBASEONE became a ‘million seller’ with their mini 3rd album ‘You had me at HELLO’, which was released on the 13th, selling over 1 million copies within a day of its release. This is the third consecutive mini album to become a million seller on the first day of release, following their first mini album ‘YOUTH IN THE SHADE’ and second mini album ‘MELTING POINT’, a first for K-Pop.

The new album topped the iTunes Top Albums chart in 23 regions around the world and exploded in Japan. “You had me at HELLO” topped Japan’s LineMusic Daily Album Chart, ranked No. 1 on the MORA Comprehensive Album Chart and No. 2 on the Recochoku Daily Album Chart.

It also performed remarkably well on the Korean music charts. In addition to the title track “Feel the POP,” all songs including “Solar POWER,” “Dear ECLIPSE,” “SWEAT,” “Sunday RIDE,” “HELLO,” and “Feel the POP (Sped Up ver.)” landed on the MELON HOT100, and six songs, including the sped-up version of “Feel the POP,” entered the TOP100 chart.

ZEROBASEONE’s rise was predicted early on. After releasing their new song “SWEAT,” the group entered the top of major charts in Korea, China, and Japan, including Melon, QQ Music, and Line Music, and topped the iTunes Top Songs chart in 26 regions around the world.

Along with the release of the new album, the group also served as MCs for major music broadcasts in Korea, cementing their position as a mainstream group. Sung Hanbin and Han Yoojin are the main MCs of Mnet’s “M Countdown” and SBS’s “Popular Yo,” respectively, while Kim Tae Rae and Kim Kyubin have been selected as special MCs for KBS2’s “Music Bank” and MBC’s “Show! Music Centre.
